Indoor Soccer League
Free Games in December, League Starts In January:
Receive January league registration discounts, provide feedback about the game/league structure, and play an hour for free. Saturday Dec. 10th adults of all skill levels are invited to come at 10:30a and youth are welcome to come on Sunday Dec. 11th at 1p and 2p (time dependent on age group). Contact to register for the free games.
Below are descriptions of the various leagues TCTC will offer starting this January, but we want to know which one(s) you have the most interest in and we want your opinion about how the leagues can improve. Please review the information below and register for the free games described above to come share this fun indoor soccer experience with us.
Youth Learning League
Objective: The Youth Learning League is available to youth players aged 5 to10 and is specially designed so that players who are still new to soccer or who are working to improve their game will receive skill instruction and learn game strategy while they are playing. The priority is to develop the physical and mental proficiency needed for soccer, there is NOT an emphasis placed on winning and losing so the score will not be counted.
Game Structure:
- Pre Game – Catalyst coach/referee teaches the day’s skill focus, game rules, and assigns players to teams and positions (5 minutes).
- Skill Focus: trapping, passing, shooting, dribbling, attacking, defending, moves, deception, communication, and teamwork.
- Warm Up – Teams practice the skill focus, run, and stretch together (10 minutes).
- During Game – Teams are in free-play while the Catalyst coach/referee ensures rules are followed and gives instruction for proper technique and skills. No team coach or parent coaching is encouraged; instead TCTC asks that an adult/parent volunteers to supervise the players on the sidelines for substitutions and safety (two 15 minute halves).
- Half Time – Both teams come together with the Catalyst coach/referee to review if the skill focus is being applied correctly and to provide positive encouragement. (5 minutes).
- Post Game – Both teams come together with the Catalyst coach/referee to review what was learned, how the skill focus was applied, and what part of the game was the most fun (5 minutes).
- Total Time – 55 minutes per game, 1 game scheduled each hour.
League Structure:
- Every player registers as an individual for $60 (includes ref/coach fees).
- Each game the players are broken up into teams of 5-10 players. The teams change every game so the players are able to meet new kids and learn to play with different types of players making them more flexible and well rounded.
- The season consists of 5 games in 5 weeks.
- Games require 4 field players and 1 goalie per team.
- The schedule is arranged for Saturdays between 9am and 5pm.
- Age groups are: Tots = 5/6 years, Littles = 7/8 years, Bigs = 9/10. Age is defined by the year and month the player was born (see rule book for specifications).
- League capacity is 20 players per age group per game. Registration beyond that maximum will result in the creation of a second division separated by skill level.
Youth Competitive League
Objective: The Youth Competitive League is available to youth players aged 10 to 18 and is best suited for teams, players and coaches who seek challenging competition to improve their game skills and strategy in addition to scores and game results being recorded throughout the season.
Game Structure:
- Pre Game – Catalyst coach/referee reviews game rules.
- Warm Up – Teams separately practice skills, run, and stretch (5 minutes).
- During Game – Teams are in free-play while the Catalyst coach/referee ensures rules are followed. TCTC requires that an adult/parent/coach is with the team at all times to supervise the players on the sidelines for substitutions and safety (two 24 minute halves).
- Half Time – Teams separately get a water break and review the progress of the game with their coach (2 minutes).
- Total Time – 55 minutes per game, 1 game scheduled each hour.
League Structure:
- Players register within a team for $300 per team (includes ref/coach fees). If players do not have a team they should contact TCTC to be placed on a team.
- Teams consist of 5-10 players per roster.
- The season is made up of 5 games in 5 weeks.
- Games require 4 field players and 1 goalie per team.
- The schedule is arranged for Saturdays between 9am and 5pm.

- League capacity is minimum 3 teams and maximum 6 teams per age group. Registration beyond the maximum within the age group will result in the creation of a second division separated by skill level.
Adult Pick Up League
Recreational Objective: The Adult Pick Up League is available to players 18 and older and is best suited for players who seek a fun and light environment to play soccer, meet new people, and have fun. The priority is to develop a well-rounded physical and mental proficiency needed for soccer, there is NOT an emphasis placed on winning and losing so the score will not be counted.
Competitive Objective: The Adult Pick Up League is available to players 18 and older and is best suited for players who seek challenging competition to improve their game skills and strategy with the same team each game in addition to scores and game results being recorded throughout the season.
Game Structure:
- Pre Game – Catalyst coach/referee reviews game rules.
o Recreational: Players separate into teams and coordinate positions before every game. Teams change each week.
o Competitive: Players separate into teams that will remain for the duration of the season and positions for the game are organized.
- Warm Up – Teams separately practice skills, run, and stretch (5 minutes).
- During Game – Teams are in free-play while the Catalyst coach/referee ensures rules are followed. TCTC does not require that a coach supervise the players on the sidelines for substitutions and safety (two 24 minute halves).

- Competitive: The first game of the season the players are broken up into teams of 5-10 players. Player names will be recorded on the team’s roster and the teams will stay the same for all 5 games of the season so individuals can get to know one another and develop a cohesive style of play.
- The season is made up of 5 games in 5 weeks.
- Games require 4 field players and 1 goalie per team.
- The schedule is arranged for coed, men, and women on Sundays between 9am and 5pm.
- Recreational: League capacity is 20 players per game. Registration beyond that maximum will result in the creation of a second division separated by skill level.
- Competitive: League capacity is minimum 3 teams and maximum 6 teams per division. This is also measured as a minimum of 24 players and a maximum of 60 players for the full league. Registration beyond the maximum will result in the creation of a second division separated by skill level.
Adult Competitive League
Objective: The Adult Competitive League is available to players 18 and older and is best suited for teams and players who seek challenging competition to improve their game skills and strategy in addition to scores and game results being recorded throughout the season.
